Terms of Service: Brooklyn Fine Meats (NSW)
1. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
2. Variable Weight & Pricing
Catch Weight: As meat is a natural product, weights are approximate. We aim for a variance of no more than 10%.
Pricing: If we deliver a product significantly under the weight ordered, we will provide a pro-rata credit or refund.
3. Delivery & The "Cold Chain"
Unattended Delivery: If you are not home, our couriers will leave the order in a designated safe place.Â
Responsibility: Once the delivery is made, the responsibility for the product (including protection against theft or weather) passes to you.
4. Food Safety (NSW Food Authority Standards)
Brooklyn Fine Meats operates under strict NSW food safety standards. Upon delivery, you must refrigerate the products at or below 5°C or freeze them immediately. We are not liable for spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
