Refund policy

Returns & Refunds Policy

At Brooklyn Fine Meats, we take immense pride in the quality of our cuts and the integrity of our cold chain. Since we deal with perishable food products, our policy is designed to ensure food safety while being fair to our customers.

1. The Nature of Our Products

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind, make a wrong selection, or find the same item cheaper elsewhere. Due to the perishable nature of meat, we cannot accept returns. For health and safety reasons, once a product has left our temperature-controlled environment, it cannot be returned for resale.

2. Issues, Damages, and Errors

We want you to be thrilled with your order. Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. If there is an issue, contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

We will provide a refund or replacement for the following:

Incorrect Items: If we sent you a Ribeye instead of a Wagyu Strip.Quality Concerns: If the product does not meet our freshness standards (excluding natural variations in color and marbling).

3. How to Report a Problem

To process a claim, we require the following:

Order Number

Clear Photos of the product, the packaging, and the shipping label.

Description of the issue.

Please email these details to info@brooklynfinemeats.com.au. Our team will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days.

4. Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method. Please note:

Credit Card: It may take 5–10 business days for your bank to post the refund.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

We cannot offer refunds or replacements in the following circumstances:

Incorrect Address: If you provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

Unattended Deliveries: If the package was delivered on time but left outdoors for an extended period.

Personal Taste: Meat is a natural product; variations in fat cover, marbling, or "natural" scent (common in dry-aged beef) are not considered defects.
